I realy enjoy urban photography because it sits right at the crossroads on how i see the world. Studying gepgraphy taught me to read cities as layers of time, movement and results of human decisions thru time
Walking around with a camera through streets feels like fieldwork with feelings attached
Old cameras slow me down, force me to do intention shots and pay attention to detail, to all aspects of urban life and especialy urbanism
My father’s old EOS 3000 was one of my first real introductions to photography, and i have to say, it is a great analogic camera to a newbie like me still...
Using analogic gear feels like borrowing a way of looking at the city that’s been passed down, mixing academic curiosity with memory, concrete with nostalgia, and turning everyday urban scenes into something worth stopping for.
